Meet OCS Titans Blues!
My new and gorgeous Chestnut splash gelding from @OtterCreekStables
What a sweet sweet boy he is! Arrived safety and very calm from a long trip!
He unloaded nice slow which is a good sign. At this point i will be showing him in led and ride him a little until i find a discipline to suit him. His colour & markings are outstanding so he will stand out in the ring. Thankyou so much for this boy!
For those who are new i had a gorgeous little 16yo welsh gelding who i have owned since i was 15. He was my childhood pony who taught me many things. The past couple of weeks iv'e noticed he hasn't been himself, he was lame and has lost a little weight. I was grooming him and noticed a quite large lump in between his back legs up near his male part. I called the vet straight away.
The vet came out on inspected him and said the lump is either a tumour or an allergic reaction. To know for sure they will need to have tests done.
A week later the lump was still there and was getting bigger. Micky was struggling to walk as his back legs would rub on it and it obviously was very sore. I called the vet again and she said bring him to the vet clinic. Micky loaded the float really slow & steady as it was hurting him.
Once we arrived we look him into his stall and has more tests done and gave him pain killers to ease the pain. The results came back and turns out it is a huge tumour and its pushing on his nerves causing his back legs to cave in. They said it is in a very dangerous spot to operate on and the chances aren't good as he is an old boy. After 24 hours thinking Micky went down in his stall and couldn't get back up. His back legs gave up and he couldn't stand. He was panicking and kicking out trying to get up.
Micky ended up getting euthanized at 6:43am and lost his fight. RIP gorgeous boy <3
