PHOENIX HILL || RAINY DAYS
Drawing white mane and tails are the WORST- and since I've only just started learning to draw them I struggle a tonne haha.
Snowstar plodded up from the field into the stable aisle. He was less than impressed with being brought into the barn since he'd been enjoying his time galloping at full speed along the fence-line in the pouring rain. Nora had worn a striped, quarter length sleeved top and was already regretting it. The weather had been cloudy all day but quite humid, now it was blowing a gale and the rain was hammering hard on the stable roof which was unsettling a couple of the horses. Of course, she'd forgotten to wear a jacket, her shirt stuck to her sides and she sighed as she peeled the soggy shirt away from her chest. "What a great day this is, huh?" she mumbled whilst tying Snowstar in the cross-ties. He, however, was completely oblivious and stood chewing playfully at the ties.
"Good!" Nora praised the stallion and gave him a scratch on the neck. They were cantering up the long side of the arena now, the rain was battering against the arena cover and Snowstar didn't bat an eyelid. He never did and was the least spooky horse she'd ever met and she felt pleased as he worked nicely throughout their whole ride. After the riding she hot-clothed him and left him to stand under the solarium for a while before jogging up to the onsite cottage and grabbing a new shirt and hoodie.
