That moment you realize you forgot to post the show entries in the album
Better late than never, here are the entries for Kendall's amazing show!
Kiko & Annie
– PEANUTBUTTER FOR THIS GUY! – Annie hugged Kokopelli's neck walking off the arena.
Harper shook her head in a mix of disaproval and relief.
– You know, things could have gone really bad in there.
– He showed the big heart I told you about today, didn't he?
– That's an understatement.
A few seconds ago the big stallion had kissed the ground and the pair almost got eliminated in the second to last fence. After a misread distance, Kokopelli took off way too far off the obstacle to cover the imposing red and brown oxer width. He landed right in the center of the obstacle, knocking down all the poles at once. Annie was catapulted to her mount's neck, who strided away from the fence awkwardly trying not to touch the poles tangled on his legs. The stallion lifted his head, helping Annie to get back in the saddle and, as soon as she got a hold of the reins again, she boldly decided to go straight to the last jump, urging the big stallion with a strong deep sit. Kokopelli didn't disapoint his rider, he locked on the last fence and pulled her willingly to the last jump. Annie allowed him to find his stride and relieved the pressure of her aids and let him do the job, finishing the fast round with four faults.
Lena & Annie
It was crucial for Lorena that she ended that course with no faults, she needed that assurance, and Annie knew what she had to do. When tracing her route on the course she didn't worried about the time allowed. Lorena couldn't be happier hopping effortlessly over every fence, she made Annie's job easy. They didn't had one bad distance, one rail rub, one miscommunaction. The ride was so smooth Lorena finished the course full of energy and wanting more.
Annie couldn't be prouder of her girl, and the show experience couldn't have gone any better for the happy mare. The pair was ready to step up a notch for their next show.
