-> Welcome to my new album. I just want to start something new & diffrent. I'm not happy anymore with my old Stall, Horses, etc. I'll try to update regulary. <-
Stable Kakenburg is a small private stall in Germany which I, Ann Rose Kalkenburg and my father Martin Kalkenburg manage together. You could say that Kalkenburg is not even a real stable, because at the moment there are only three horses. Our own private horses. My father works as a rider and trainer and trains horses. I have been helping him for a year and mainly do the office work. After all, I have enough to do with my own two horses.
My mother is English, hence the name. 10 years ago she left me and my dad and since then we are both a committed team that nobody can break so fast .
**Ann Rose Kalkenburg | 18 years old| stable manager assistent & rider
Martin Kalkenburg | 50 years old | trainier & rider**
Sonnenkönig K | Hanoverian | gelding | Cross Country
Sonnenkönig K is a 10 year old Hanoverian gelding. We bought it from a good friend of my father 4 years ago. At that time, Hector, as we call him, was in a police horse detachment. But relatively quickly it became clear that he was not really suitable for it. He had big problems with stress, noise and many people. Today is a life insurance and makes everything . He loves CC jumping and would really jump any obstacle with his owner.
As the saying goes? #oncealiftimehorse
Fishermanns Friend K | Oldenburger | gelding | Show Jumping
Fishermans Friends K (aka Oscar) is a six year old Oldenburg gelding. We bought him almost two years ago and train since then show jumping with him.
He has fun at work, but is just very young, which one notices relatively quickly when he is overwhelmed or has no more desire.
On the other hand, there are days when he is totally overbearing and you can jump over houses with him
Paperplans K | hanoverian x arabian | mare | Show Jumping
Paperplans K is my father's mare. She and he are inextricably linked. He raised her as a foal with a bottle after her mother died at birth, later he also trained her and has been relatively successful in doing a few tournaments with her, but since he has a lot to do in his job, Unfortunately, he does not have much time for her anymore. We thinking about breeding with her
